Double check the battery cables.  The cable may have separated from the end, 
be corroded, or the end may be corroded.  If you dont have a terminal 
cleanter, buy one.  About $3 and will clean cable ends and posts.

Also, don't TRs have a ground strap for the engine?  After cranking, touch 
the choke or accelerator cable, if they are hot you have a bad ground.
