My feeling is that it probably doesn't add any real $ value to the car.
However, on the earlier (pre-60000) cars, I found it a nice addition because
it provided a level "shelf" to but groceries, etc.  The floor is extremely
limited and the slope is difficult to deal with.  

I'd get it.   Plan on re-upping it at some time to match the rest of your
interior.

Greetings list,

I've been toying with the idea of adding the optional occasional seat to my
'59 TR3A and have found a used one for sale.  Apparently it is in ok
shape.....  solid with some rips in the upholstery.  Any thoughts as to the
value?  This is the early type, before the changes to the fuel take and the
addition of the rear shelf.

Any input would be appreciated.
