I sent a net buddy (a Hawaii state resident) down to the DMV to try to trace
my Lotus. They told him to go fly a kite. "Privacy issues", they said.
Nonsense, I say. Former registrations of automobiles ought to be public
record.
Dunno if they still are doing things this way in Hawaii. This was in 1991
or so.
