Dave,

You're assuming that they will take the time to read the notice.  Perhaps
the best thing to do is to use a RED battery cable on the POSITIVE battery
post.  Even if it goes to chassis.  And if any one looks at that and does
the head scratch maybe then he'll stop to read the sign you put there.

You could generate something on the computer and take it to a Kinko's and
have it laminated.  

Also be sure that the positive terminal designation on the battery is
visible.

Any other thoughts?
