I'm sure the content police will object shortly, but my first car was a 1962
Chevy Biscayne. Paid $15 in 1971, and drove it home on 5 cylinders !
Donated it to the fire department in 1973, to be used for practice putting
out car fires.
'My' first TR was in Dad's name, 1959 (?, commission plate had been removed)
TR3A, bought in 74 (?). It's still sitting in Dad's garage. Bought another
in 1976, in my name. It got crushed (long story, not by choice!) in late
1979 and I was Triumphless until 1984, when my wife bought my current 59
TR3A (built in 1958) as a birthday present to me.
