My first car was a 1962 FIAT 1100 4 door sedan with suicide doors, four on 
the tree and no engine compression.  Picked the car up from a local mechanic 
for $25 in 1968 so that I could fix it up and learn something about cars and 
learn how to drive a standard.  Well, I learned you shouldn't rebuild an 
engine without cleaning out the oil galleries and that a spray gun with a 
leak in the syphon tube lays down a nice sharkskin finish.  Needed money for 
college so I sold the car for $200 to someone that was going to commute 50 
miles a day.  Engine blew 2 weeks later (see oil galleries).
