Well mine was a 1939 Ford coupe convertible with rumble seat and bought in
1949 at the ripe old age of ??, go into my local bank as a young teenager and
ask for $300.00 to buy it, filled out no forms just signed a promisary note
for the bank V.P. and had the money, I asked him if I had to pay him back
legally and he said no not if you don't want to as the law does not cover 15
years olds, but he said I will go straight to your "grandmother" and tell her
if I have too, the note was paid as promised, the tales about all the
happenings in a rumble seat are not true, never found anything you could do in
a rumble seat that would be of any satisfaction the anyone.  "FT"
