Approximately, yes.  But the cast iron mainfold stops well above the oil
pan which connects to an elbow that is integral with the cat.  It is this
short manifold (typical of American V8 stock manifolds) that is so atypical
of Triumph.  Most Triumph manifolds are much better designed and are hard
to impove upon.

A good 4 to 2 to 1 manifold will improve things but I know of none that
allow retention of the catalytic converters.  But then, any good muffler
shop can cut in generic cats wherever they will fit.

I suspect (and I seam to recall) that there was no significant change made
between the Carb and FI models save the oxygen sensor.
