LHD? Yes. United States? No, nor were any of the "small" Triumph sedans that 
used some form of that basic body structure, including the 1300, 1500 and 
Toledo. Too bad, but then Triumph had only moderate success in the US with 
the Herald and virtually NO success with the potentially wonderful 2000. Too 
bad, really....
