I've heard it called "The Triumph Trot".

In my town they like to put in brick crosswalks -- run across those 
lumpy bricks they use when you're 2/3 of the way thru a fast left turn 
and the rear end will  finish the turn for you.  You just allow for it 
and it works out fine.
