The intent of the cut off switch is to stop the motor, electric fuel pump and 
isolate the battery.  If a 2 terminal switch is used, the car owner will ( 
truthfully ) say the battery shut off works, however it won't stop the motor. 

If tech is dealing with a known driver/builder/car they will just ask.
