Single driver over the road trucks regularly travel 100-120,000 miles a
year. My daughter was commuting 75+ miles each way for two years. So, say a
traveling salesman, commuting from the burbs in CT when he's not selling in
the
mid-Atlantic states, could easily do 2 million in 40 years, and still get
weekends off.
