I'm on Bob's side, Joe. You only live 200 miles from DCTRA, there's no reason
at all you couldn't join and help out when they do TRfest every 5 years. They'd
probably even like to have a branch club in Tucson! (SCTOA has members all over
the world, and branch meetings in Orange County and West LA.) And they'd
probably love to have you volunteer to run the Funcours. Now is just the right
time to say you'll step up and do your part in 2007.

I see that Spits are well represented in the club, 3rd most popular out of 15
models represented.
Of course ... you MAY find it just a wee bit more work to actually run the
event, than to just show up late and bitch because they didn't save you a spot
... but at least you'd know it was done right !
