Well said Deano. But if your local all British car club turns out to be
in reality a MG club that decided that they can't field enough members
to sustain their club, and opens it to all British cars, yet retains all
of their MG club attributes (including the name of their newsletter),
what would you do about that?
Such is the case in Tucson.

Joe, That is a shame. All I could do about that situation is what we did here
and that was to start our own non-denominational order, and compete with the
nominal MG club. It only took 4 of us with a good idea here to attract to date
41 members in just a couple of years. And were adding members regularly as word
gets out. Of course, rather than being stuck on a particular Marque we all take
pleasure in the fact that we get along and we drive around some of the most
beautiful country in the world showing off the diversity of British Iron and we
have a hell of a lot of fun doing so regardless of race, creed, politics,
religion, or Marque. Too bad more don't share our attitude.
