Did you clean and lube the cable's insides? Also, check how the cable is
routed to the tach. You want it to make as long & straight a connection as
possible to the tach's back. So you may have to re-route the cable to avoid
a bend at the connection.

Hey fellow listers

Does any one know how to calibrate a TR6 tachometer?

I recently had one rebuilt and now it reads low, like 1700 RPM at 50 mph in
4th gear when it should read 2500!
