Yes, I know.  But since no one had mentioned measuring throttle blade opening,
and I HAD mentioned measuring piston movement, I thought perhaps you didn't
understand the difference.

SU's do not.

Not in a SU kit.

I never said it was.  But a "synch stick" is just a bunch of manometers on a
board.

BTW, for two cylinders, you can actually do an excellent job of matching vacuum
with a single, dual-port manometer.  It doesn't even have to use mercury
(although it does need to be a bit taller if you use water).

Oh, well, I thought you were talking about accuracy.  A bunch of unrelated
gauges on a stick is about as INaccurate as you can get ... certainly no worse
than going cylinder to cylinder with a single (and therefore perfectly matched)
Uni-syn.

Oh, and BTW, our SU carbs do not have the ports to connect to your "synch
stick".  An instrument you cannot connect isn't as good as just listening to the
hiss.  If you had actually done the work you are telling others how to do, you'd
know that.
