I experimented and found that in the summer I could use almost anything but
the winter was a different story.  I tried different weights of oil, 3 in 1
oil, ATF, etc and ended up with gold old 30W.  It may be climate specific:-)

When I was running SUs, I used Marvel Mystery oil in them.  Seemed to work
well in all sorts of weather.
