    My earlier comments were geared toward production cars since that was the 
reference in the question about "evil" SCCA production cars.  The 
"thoroughbred" sports racers and formula cars really present their own sets 
of vintage/historic issues.  
    We of all people should know - old race cars never die, sooner or later 
thay all become "historic" or "vintage" racers.
