Dave Bondon is right - we've had good luck with the Yok's in HSR and VSCDA,
but they seem to be sold out the usual places (i.e. Tire Rack). If anyone
knows where to purchase some, or has a new pair for sale please contact me
off list.

The Porsches I run against in HSR use a Yokohama 008 - 195/60/15.

You might check with Joe Pendergast at HSR as to what has been approved for
this year since I understand that Yokohama was considering discontinuing
this tire.

DOT street legal racing tires in either 195/60/15 or 205/60/15 sizes. We
race with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR) and are limited to a 60
series or larger tire. It seems that most manufacturers have quit making
this size ond no one can find a suitable replacement. BF Goodrich had the

discontinued also; no loss though because my last set only lasted two
races. All other manufacturers only make 50 series for our 15"wheels.
Any suggestions for suitable race tires ? >>
