OK - lets get this straight -

Jim Clark was a Scot - therefore he was a Brit.

Britain includes England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and a few other little
islands.
Great Britain includes just England, Wales and Scotland but not Ireland.

Now don't go getting Britain confused with the United Kingdom - that's another
story.
