Mike,

There were more than one 750 Eleven made, but it was converted by the 
factory back to FWA shortly after LeMans. It(they) had one objective. That 
is why you've never seen one. The '57 car had a destroked FWA in it, the 
later cars used the newer generation 750cc firepump and marine engine as the 
basis for their screamers. These engines may have had some connection to the 
later 1.5 liter V8 GP engine, not sure, but I've never seen one on this side 
of the pond.    Chuck, You might want to bring your HM out with VDCA, just 
because at this time the fields of pre-60s SR are smaller, so you won't get 
lapped as often. Maybe they'd even let you run in the pre-war group with the 
T series cars, if you are still concerned about speed differential.
