First a little something I found in the Atlanta newspaper today, not an LBC
but interesting non the less. HORCH (Karosserie Baur Stuttgart)1932 4 dr
convertible. One of a kind. $479,000 (US$)!! I have no idea what a Horch
is but the 1955 Proper Alpine for $8995 seems like a steal by comparison
(also in the Atlanta paper).

I sure am glad that my Alpine is running well enough that all I have to do
is worry about non-mission critical annoyances.
Here are 2 of them:

1) How does one remove the glass from the rear view mirror without
destroying the whole thing? Should I go to the glass shop and get a new
mirror cut or resilver the old one?

2) I get about 3-5 seconds of engine run on after I turn off the ignition.
What causes this and how can I stop it.

Thanks,

Chris
