Re: Replacing diff bolts question

I have decided it's time to check the bolts in my Alpine diff ring
gear. We have had this thread before, but I have a further (possibly
dumb) question.

In looking at the drawings it seems that it may be possible to get at
the bolts one at a time with the diff assembly still in the car. Does
anyone have any idea whether this is possible.

It seems that if I remove the diff cover, I should be able to get at
one bolt at a time for removal, Loctiting and replacing.

Also what is recommended here. The use of lock washers, use of the
(soft) locking tabs, no washers etc?

Thanks

John
