Well...as you all know, I suffered a blow out with the original Michelin
"X" 5.90-13 tires I was running. Remembering a past conversation on the
list about vintage tires, I decided to check out Coker Tire for
replacements. I was very suprised to learn the cost of these tires. A
replacement 5.90-13 Michelin "X" is $135.00, per tire! I have no doubt
that I want to use these replacements for my car, so it looks like I
need to start saving my pennies. It's good to know that they are
available, but there is a price attached. Does anyone know of other
vintage tire sources?
