Can anyone outline the mods to acheive a reliable but not too expensive 150
hp alpine motor for racing. I race here in New Zealand and am running about
105 hp using 80 thou pistons (1810cc), a standard post '72 rapier cam and
twin 1 3/4 SUs, with a bit of head work and balancing. I am about to embark
on my main race motor and would like to gather as much info as possible
before I start. What mods have been found to work, with the motor still
holding together, and does anyone have a complete recipe for such an engine.
