Chris,

My friend Ed Unkel has a car with that setup and frankly, it looks
ridiculous, even he agrees. The roadster is too small or the pipes are too
big to give a good visual balance.

Additionally, as I said before, you burn your legs getting in/out of the
car. It really is quite dangerous.

If anything have the pipe run through the frame and exit just before the
rear wheel as the race cars did. There was an AH 3000 owner who ran his
pipes like that but the pipes were no longer round and were squished from
lack of clearance.

But hey, give it a shot if you want - I know I was thinking about it too :)
