The steam record as shown in the rule book is 145.607. As I remember the car
it was a fiberglass kit sports car with a Lear steam turbine out of a San
Francisco Muni Bus. The same Lear that built Lear Jets tried to build
eco-buses but the failed the San Francisco hill climbing in service. The
steam car took years to get a semi good run. Should have worked better.
