 The engine is a V16-92 Detroit. 16 cylinders, 92cid each.It is a 2 stroke, the 
supercharger is what makes the fuel/air charge go in the cylinder when the 
piston uncovers the holes at the bottom of the stroke.  It very well could have 
been in a boat at one time.
