Welcome, Brian, and I wish you would give us some technical dissertation
on those sprint Triumphs, especially if you went into nitro with the
blower.  When they run the standing kilo, it gets to be more like speed
trials than drag racing, in my mind.

I recall reading years ago about how the fellas in the National Sprint
Assn. over there did it, the intriguing part was how they got vertical
twin bikes to live under extreme overstress conditions, and go very,
very fast.

A close friend of mine is working on a book about '50s and '60s bike
drag racing over here(when it was a very small sport) and obtained a
large amount of manuscript material from the famous Boris Murray about
how he did it with twin-Triumphs years ago.  Ardun Bill
