Well, I'll have to get back to you on how it works on the salt, but I know
that a bit of flywheel definitely smoothed out the power and helped with
traction when I raced flat track.
I tried my Trackmaster Triumph without the external flywheel and it was more
difficult to hook up, put it right back on.
