I have sent several email requests to manufactureer's of dry sump pumps for
data like the following:

1) the horsepower to drive the dry sump pump with differing numbers of
scavenge sections (eg 2, 3, or 4)?
2) When the pump goes into bypass or relief mode, does the power required to
drive he pump stay the same as before bypassing oil?
3) Given multiple stages to the scavenge side of the pump, how much vacuum
can or is drawn in the crankcase in inches of HG?
4) How does the power required for the pump compare to a typical wet sump
pump?
5) And finally, do you have a graph of power required vs rpm for a typical
installation?

Hopefully, I get some responses and will post them to the list. Also, a year
of so ago, there was a really good article in th National Dragster regarding
wet vs dry sump systems. I'll se if I can round that up also. Some of you
others might remember it also..
