Dave,

I've heard rumors of engines running over 4 Bar pressure. Next year when 
I'm at the Air Races I'll
see what I can find out about the coolant & pressures they run in the 
Merlins. They spray water
on the coolant and oil radiators leaving a visible trail of steam at 500 
mph.
