Good question, Brian. I also got very interested when Keith mentioned that
3/8" of suspension travel.  In fact, it raised a few more questions.



Keith how do you know that 3/8" data trace is not instrument noise?  Did you
see spikes much larger than the background noise? If so how high? Were they
random spikes or fairly consistent in period or occurrence?  Was the 3/8"
oscillation fairly even across all the data?  Also, what software tool are
you using to display the data?   Very interested,  -Elon
