The byproducts of the H2 fuel process are harmless,
but what about H2 it's self????

Bryan

Good point on the leakage.

I wouldn't say the byproducts are harmless in the quantities we're
talking about. How much water vapor would a jillion H2 cars make?
Water vapor is a greenhouse gas too.

Besides it takes more energy to create the H2 than the H2 provides.
Unless we're ready for a lot nuclear energy it is just not practical on
a large scale.
