I think many of us have done our part to help with controlling 
the use of gasoline; at least as much as we can. My work car gets 38 mpg up 
from the 8 to 10 of my old pickups. I drive 30K miles less a year. My wifes car 
gets 25 up from the 15.  Both of these have extremly low emmisions.
My diesel pickup sits until needed and gets double what I used to get towing...
IMO The biggest thing is more people and the more we keep letting in. Just a 
thought
