I've done a couple of long distance runs in my 'B , including runs down
the I-95 , and fine the best way to avoid bordom is putting the top down.
(It would be interesting to compare the dB level of motoring at 65-70 mph
with the top down to top up.) That is also why I went with a high (well,
medium) powered stereo. Unfortunately, thisis when a CC would come in
handy ; I often end up speeding, my hands tapping, my head bopping,
looking around at the scenery (or course there isn't much scenery on the
I-95 in maine.) However, top-down motoring at 70mph has it's effects.
After about an hour I feel as high as a kite (what a rush! ;> ), contacts
dry up....

Enough babbling...

As I re-read my post, I see I may be flamed by some GT owners... ;>

P.S. Got caught in a rain shower with the top down yesterday on the
highway. Thankfully it ended by the time the highway ended. Didn't get wet
at all! It is the last time I trust The Weather Network as a basis for
top down motoring.
