If I recollect, this thread started as someone looking for an
opportunities to pick up an MGA in his price range.
For all you Americans on the list, you might want to think about
looking in Canada. Today your dollar is worth almost $1.50 in Canada
so a CDN$12,500 MGA (as seen in Victoria, B.C.'s AutoTrader this week)
will set you back the more palatable sum of US $8,400. Still not
cheap, but looking better all the time. I recently saw an add from
Winnipeg that had a fellow selling two A's for CDN$3500. Undoubtedly a
major project, but he insisted that one was running and restorable.
I would have bought them myself, but couldn't get there in time.
