I figured the subject would get some attention. This morning my son was
adjusting the seat back on our 74 B and he broke the lever ripping open the
area between his thumb and palm. No ligment damage. 4 stitches closed the
wound.

He went to soccer practice and the coach made him go to the hospital. He
didn't want to miss practice. Actually, he managed to save the leather interior
from any blood stains.

Well now I am in need of a seat back adjusting handle. I have not had a chance
to check the suppliers to see if this can be bought, but I am suspecting it is
not a high volume item and not available. Does anyone know if they are
available or have one they would be willing to sell?

At the start of the summer the seat back adjusted easily. It tightened up the
last couple of months. the trick is to adjust it before you get in and wiggle
the back while you push on the handle. Unfortunately, he was in a hurry and
tried to force it while sitting in the seat.

Hopefully, that will be the most serious injury associated with the car.
