Hmmm, Bill, wonder if there was a 3-main engine fairy wandering around -
your '66, my '65 and his '73, all with the "wrong" engine... Anyways, I
believe that the early non-synchro transmission is the only one that will
work with the 3-main, and I would assume the same would be true with the
O/D. In which case, you'de be a lucky man, assuming the trans is in good
shape...
