I still have the original Craftsman tool set that my
parents gave me for my 16th birthday (I am over 50 now). It
is complete with no lost tools. Along with being a great
reminder of how thoughtful my parents were, it has served
me very very well over the years.

Sear/Craftsman has a very loyal consumer base(how many of
us are Craftsman Club members ?) If they are smart, they
will not mess with it. I hope that the new owner does't
try to "improve" things and start to take out the quality
in the tools to bump up the profit margains.
