Re[2]: air filter on 4/4

     I think some recent 4/4s ('80s?) had an aluminum casting (complete 
     with "Morgan" cast into it) on top of the carb or fuel injection air 
     intake and connecting to an air hose from a remote air filter. 
     
     Also, I have seen numerous 4/4s with some type of thin filter on top 
     of a downdraft carb.  Maybe they have different carbs than your 4/4.  
     This could be a good excuse to change to a Weber carb...
