Martin,
Would not the greater appreciation of those lovely ladies in the trim
shop be to try to preserve their work as long as possible? Bless your
heart but the Lord made your face to weather and age and be a testament
to the many roads you have traveled. The Morgan was perhaps granted to
you so as to assist in this ageing process, a warrior absorbing whatever
kind of fortune that comes your way and help in building character.
Perhaps it would be better (if you are organized and know where things
are located in your garage) to put your hood up only when the Morgan is
not in use and parked inside so that it ,the Morgan with the top up,
could be viewed as a cherished alter to the crafts represented at
Malvern. Besides you are a descendent of Vikings and do not need to be
identified with an object as effeminate as a hood, which should perhaps
be up only for formal occasions, such as going to a funeral.
