Joe,

I JET HOT coated the entire exhaust system and installed foil insulation
matting between the firewall and the rubber matting. The Foil matting was
bought through JC Whitney. The interior is quite comfortable on fairly hot
days but I do miss the additional heat when driving in the late Fall!

Arlo,

I just traveled about 130 miles this weekend from
Rhinebeck, NY to Sparta, NJ on a clear day with
78F temperatures.

It should have been a pleasant run, but the cockpit
heat was overwhelming, especially on the unfortunate
passenger's side (where the headers are).

So, please tell me more about "jet-coating" the
headers and any other tricks to reduce this problem.

Thanks!

Jerry:

...We have then, to make the issue of heat through the firewall more
bearable, jet-coated the exhaust headers. This has made quite a
difference in the lower reaches of the car.
