I want to update the front suspension on my 55 1st-series GMC.
I like the idea of swapping the front suspension from a 72-87 1/2-ton,
because it is independent, has disk brakes, is a truck suspension and
apparently is not difficult to do (and I have one parked outside I'm
almost ready to junk).
I've seen the Boyo 55 pages about this swap, which helps a lot, but I'm
wondering if anyone has done this, or knows of a good source of
information on the project.
I've considered a complete frame swap, but there are too many unknowns,
unless someone has done it, or can point me to someone who has...
