Hi Annice,

I have no idea what anyone's motives are regarding the two lists. I
subscribed to Spridgets-mod originally in case there were technical
discussions that would go on outside of the Spridgets list. That's all. As
you know, I tend to travel in those circles more than the off-topic stuff.

I am one that has come to appreciate the Spridgets list for it's diversity
and and for the many friends I've come to have on and off-list... people
I've had the opportunity to meet in person, and thise who I have still to
meet (someday hopefully) There are many (like you) as you know. Some are
off-list now entirely but still keep in touch with me. The volume of
messages is annoying at times, but, for me, worth dealing with because
there are so many great people on this list. I've received help in so many
ways from so many here, and not just about cars. I think this list is about
300-400 strong, but I suspect the great majority are lurkers. Some only
come out when they need something and then go away, but I think they're
missing out.
