When we moved to Alabama, no. When we moved to Nevada yes.I wanted to 
make a change in the title and before they would do it they had to come 
out and look at the vin. My old title was from Calif and somehow the B 
in the number had been left off. Nevada fixed it  but had to look to be 
sure.
