It wasn't any better in most other races either. There was a great dice
for 2nd place in SSB coming to the finish. They first switched away to
show the obligatory winner crossing the finish line shot which was bad
enough. But then, instead of switching back to the dice they showed the
winner's wife. Good grief! That along with interviewing all the crew
members was just too much. I was reminded of the CART coverage a few
years back when ABC decided they could boost ratings by adding human
interest. Well, guess what? Suzie Housewife is not going to watch the
Runoffs unless Brad Pitt is driving naked.
