That is definitely part of the problem but I don't think it is as large
as the underdog issue. Let's face it. A-type people like to win. If you
can provide a forum where that is a possibility they will be a lot more
interested in coming out than if it is not the case.

Not to mention lots of serious autocrossers change cars as often as I
change my underwear. I kept my NA 944 for 8 years and put over 100K
miles on it. It was originally classed in DS and I thought it was
competitive. But it got moved to CS along with a lot of other RWD cars
to clear the way for the Civic Si to win DS. That was in '90. I kept
autocrossing. I also kept bitching. Big surprise.

You must run in an awfully small region for you and your 1LE to dominate
all those cars. Try SFR sometime. Back in '89 there were over 15 cars in
DS alone. There were usually over 200 people at every autocross. There
were sometimes 250.

Yeah right.
