Come up with a physical difference that applies to a woman driving a car
that doesn't apply to a 130 lb. man. Don't give me some bullshit "men are
aggressive and women aren't" thing either. True or not, aggressiveness
isn't exactly a big help at an autox.

It pisses me off in large part because the Ladies classes are a nice
feeder class that men don't have. It pisses me off on a theoretical level
because there's no objective reason whatsoever for there to be two
classes. It pisses me off that the same people who constantly bitch and
moan about there being too many classes and that we should kill
undersubscribed classes have a complete blind spot for ladies classes that
have never had more than 5 competitors at any event in history. It pisses
me off that when anyone says anything even _remotely_ negative about this
sacred cow that reason is thrown out the window and they get their chewed
up ass handed to 'em in a bag.
I don't really wanna change my sex, but I suspect I'd still have those
opinions if I did. I know for sure that when I tell female friends about
autox and get to the Ladies classes, the _unanimous_ reaction is "What?
Why?"

How can you say we're about competition and that Ladies classes make sense

Please. How is my response to your post any different than your response?
I have fun when I autox. In most ways Ladies classes don't matter a whit
to me and I'll continue to have fun whether they exist or not. But that
doesn't mean I don't have an opinion I'm willing to express.
