I'm sure most of us don't "need" a trophy to urge us out of bed on Sunday
mornings, but the chase seems to be a lot more fun (and interesting) when
there's something to chase...

Better yet, why not just get rid of the trophies altogether. After all,
there really are _no_ losers when we all get together for some autocross
fun. As long as everyone is having fun then _everybody_ is a real winner.
Who really needs a trophy to validate that?
